Arriving by Air

Arriving by Road
M3 Junction 6:
Follow signs Alton A 339. Lasham is on the left about 6 miles down this road just after the village of Herriard. You can see large aircraft at ATC Aviation as you come over the brow of a small hill. Turn left into The Avenue, Lasham Gliding is sign-posted on a brown sign. The airfield entrance is on the right after about half a mile.
M3 Junction 5:
Follow signs Farnham A287. At the next roundabout follow signs Alton B3349. After 6 miles turn right at Golden Pot crossroads. The airfield entrance is on the left after about 1.5 miles.
A31 from Alton:
Follow signs A339 Basingstoke. After about 6 miles turn right into The Avenue, Lasham Gliding is sign-posted on a brown sign. The airfield entrance is on the right after about half a mile.
Arriving by Rail
Start at Waterloo Station (Just south of the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square, over the river).
Fast line, 43 minutes, frequent trains. Lasham is 8 miles south by bus or taxi.
Slow line, infrequent trains, 1 hour 10 minutes, Lasham then 4 miles north by taxi.
Train to Aldershot, then travel to Alton as above.
